Security Details
LeadRecoverly is designed to scan HubSpot with revocable access and clear user control. The product promise is simple: the free scan does not change records, and paid updates require client approval.
OAuth and scopes
- Free scan reads contacts, companies, deals, owners, and available timestamps without changing records.
- Paid write actions require preview, backup guidance where appropriate, and explicit approval before any one-record update is submitted.
- Users can revoke access from inside HubSpot at any time.
Data use boundaries
- We do not sell or rent leads.
- We do not market to customer contacts in connected HubSpot portals.
- We do not train public AI models on CRM data.
- We use HubSpot-derived data to run scans, generate reports, and provide exports for the user's account.
Retention and deletion
When a user disconnects HubSpot, API access ends immediately. HubSpot-derived scan data should be deleted within the stated retention period in the Privacy Policy, except for limited billing, legal, tax, or fraud-prevention records.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information LeadRecoverly (operated by LeadRecoverly, "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LeadRecoverly you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email, and company, created when you sign up. Payment details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.
- HubSpot data: when you connect HubSpot, we read records needed to run your scan, including contacts, companies, deals, owners, and available timestamps. We do not write to, edit, merge, or delete your HubSpot records during the free scan. Paid updates require approval before execution.
- Scan results: the scores, counts, and findings we generate from your data so we can show your report.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the product, used for security and improvement.

How we use information
- To provide the service: run scans, calculate your CRM health score, and show your reports.
- To process billing and send service messages related to your account.
- To provide support, prevent abuse, secure the service, and meet legal obligations.
- To improve the product. We do not sell your personal information or HubSpot data, do not market to your contacts, and do not train public AI models on your CRM data.
Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, to meet legal obligations, and with your consent where required (for example, non-essential cookies).
How we share information
We share data only with service providers who help us run LeadRecoverly, under contract and only as needed. See the Sub-processors list below. We may also disclose information to comply with law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information, rent or sell leads, market to your customer contacts, or train public AI models on your CRM data.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data and scan results while your account is active. If you disconnect HubSpot, our access ends immediately. If you cancel or delete your account, we delete your HubSpot-derived data and access tokens within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Security
We protect data in transit and at rest, encrypt stored access tokens, and require approval before paid write actions run. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights to know, delete, and opt out of "sale" (we do not sell). To exercise any right, email legal@leadrecoverly.com. You can revoke our access to HubSpot at any time from inside HubSpot.
International transfers and children
Your data may be processed in the United States; where required we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. LeadRecoverly is not directed to children and is intended for business users only.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of LeadRecoverly. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
LeadRecoverly scans your connected HubSpot account and reports potential revenue leaks such as duplicates, stale deals, missed follow-up, attribution gaps, and billable-but-unusable contacts. The free scan does not modify your HubSpot data. Paid cleanup actions require a preview and your approval before any one-record update is submitted to HubSpot.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be authorized to connect the HubSpot account you link. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Plans, billing, and renewal
- The free scan is available at no cost. Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed in advance each period and renew automatically until cancelled.
- By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; see the Cancellation Policy.
- We may change prices with notice; changes apply to the next billing period. Promotional pricing applies only while the offer is active.
- Taxes may apply depending on your location.
Your data and your actions are your responsibility
The free scan reads your CRM; it does not change it. Any change inside HubSpot (merging, deleting, editing, exporting and re-importing, changing marketing status, or approving an optional in-app write action) is an action you choose and approve, and you are solely responsible for it and its results. Back up before any bulk action. We are not responsible or liable for data loss, deleted or merged records, broken workflows, or any other consequence of actions taken in your HubSpot account, including actions based on our reports or recommendations.
Third-party platforms
LeadRecoverly is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by HubSpot, Inc. HubSpot controls its platform, APIs, pricing, billing, and your account, and may change, limit, suspend, or remove access at any time for reasons outside our control. We are not liable for HubSpot's actions, including suspensions, bans, API or pricing changes, or removal of our app, and no refund is owed for them.
No guarantees
All dollar figures and findings are directional estimates based on your data and available benchmarks, not promises of recovered revenue, savings, or outcomes. LeadRecoverly is not financial, legal, accounting, or sales advice.
Intellectual property
We own the LeadRecoverly software, brand, and content. You own your data. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you. We do not sell leads, market to your contacts, or train public AI models on your CRM data. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or build a competing product from the service.
Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, profits, or data. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use, your data, or actions you take in HubSpot.
Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to protect the service.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah, United States, except where applicable law provides otherwise. We may update these Terms and will revise the date above; continued use means acceptance.
Refund Policy
The free scan lets you see your CRM health score, top leak categories, estimated impact, and limited examples before you ever pay, so you can judge the value first. Because of that, and because you can cancel at any time:
- Subscription charges already incurred are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.
- When you cancel, you keep access through the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate or refund partial periods.
- Promotional or discounted pricing is non-refundable and applies only while the offer is active.
If something is wrong with a charge, email billing@leadrecoverly.com within 14 days and we will review it and make it right where appropriate. Please contact us before filing a dispute or chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Cancellation Policy
- You can cancel yourself at any time, with no email or support request required. Open Manage billing on your dashboard to reach the secure billing portal, then cancel in a couple of clicks. You can also email support@leadrecoverly.com if you prefer.
- Cancellation stops all future charges and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. It does not backdate: a period you have already paid for is not refunded, and you keep full access through the end of it.
- After cancellation we stop billing immediately and delete your HubSpot-derived data within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You can reconnect or resubscribe at any time; a new subscription starts a fresh billing cycle.
- You can also revoke LeadRecoverly's access from inside HubSpot at any moment, which immediately ends our access to your data.
Cookie Notice
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential: needed to sign you in, keep you logged in, and run core features. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics: help us understand usage so we can improve the product. We use privacy-respecting, first-party analytics only and do not load third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Where required by law, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies before setting them. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where shown, our consent banner.
Sub-processors
We use the following service providers to operate LeadRecoverly. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

We update this list as our providers change. These providers are based in the United States, where your data may be processed.
Acceptable Use
When using LeadRecoverly, you agree not to:
- Connect a HubSpot account you are not authorized to access, or use the service to access data you have no right to.
- Use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful, including violating others' privacy or sending unlawful messages with exported data.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or sublicense the service, or build a competing product from it (the Partner Program is the only sanctioned way to earn from referrals).
- Circumvent usage limits, security, or billing, or overload or interfere with the service or HubSpot's API.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
